We feel there is value straight from the word GO with this lad as New Bay’s covering fee is currently €75,000.
He is from an excellent family and the first foal out of a mare that would’ve cost borderline 7 figures.
The market for part 2 of the Goffs Orby sale was very weak, as we had hoped.
With our budget, it is vital that we play when we think the market is wrong/weak so that we can maximise value for our owners.
We certainly believe this horse is value at €22,000.
A big powerful colt that has been entered for the Goffs Millions & Bonus races, of which there will be AT LEAST two restricted Band D maidens carrying a healthy €50,000 reward to the winner.
Ollie has kept a sizeable share in this lad and is very happy to be welcoming another Pompey Ventures horse to our successful Manton team.
*Why do we want to target Band C&D races so much?*
There were 112 maidens for two year olds that cost under £40,000 in the first four months of the flat season this year, with 10% of those races offering prize money of £30,000.

*What is the Goffs Two Million & Bonus race scheme and why should I be interested?*
The Goffs Million is the richest 2 year old race in Europe, with all of the top 3 finishers taking home SIX FIGURES in prize money.
We have paid the €5,000 entry fee for both our Goffs Orby colts.
The Goffs Two Million Series will be added to the British racing calander for the first time next year.
As stated in the write ups for both horses, Goffs have told us there will be at least two Band D restricted maidens carrying a €50,000 bonus to the winner.
To run for that sort of money against horses purchased in the Band D restriction is unspeakably valuable. We will look to target as many of these races as we can with our two colts.
Not to mention the other races included, one of which offers a chunky €500,000 prize pot. With only ten runners in the race this year and very nice prize money being available all the way down the field, it makes perfect sense to give it a crack.
